The NetEngine 8000 series routers are Huawei's full-service intelligent router platform for the AI era. Ultra-wide bandwidth creates a simplified and intelligent network, leading SR/SRv6 enables intelligent connectivity, and a new generation of intelligent brain achieves full lifecycle automation, leading to proactive operation and maintenance. The series covers large chassis, compact card-based, and fixed-box devices, adopting industry-leading orthogonal architecture and cell-based load balancing technologies. With separation of the control plane and forwarding plane, it fully meets the needs of different network scenarios such as core, aggregation, and access. It features high performance, high reliability, low power consumption, and evolvability, and can be applied to enterprise WAN core nodes, large enterprise access nodes, DC interconnects, campus interconnects and aggregation nodes, and various large IDC network egress points.

1. Ultra-wide platform
The industry's first 400G platform box router, meeting the needs of high-capacity converged network deployment. Its ultra-high-density design satisfies high-density port requirements. With its compact design, superior heat dissipation, ultra-low power consumption, and full-service capabilities, the NetEngine 8000 creates a simplified, converged ultra-broadband network for customers, reducing costs.
2. SRv6-based intelligent connectivity
The NetEngine 8000 series offers leading SRv6 capabilities, effectively handling massive connections based on IPv6; automatic cross-domain connection helps customers migrate directly to the cloud; minute-level service provisioning and tenant/application-level SLA guarantees enhance user experience and help enterprise customers achieve a smooth evolution from MPLS to SRv6.
3. Full lifecycle automation
The NetEngine 8000 series adopts a new generation of management, control, and analysis platform—Network Cloud Engine (NCE)—to achieve full lifecycle automation. NCE, in conjunction with SRv6, can achieve 50ms protection, minute-level traffic optimization, second-level fault identification, and minute-level fault location, significantly improving network availability and helping enterprise customers move towards proactive and intelligent network operations and maintenance.
